Horse Racing Tips – 5th December 2015
Things went belly up last week, but after such a good Spring and 2015 in all, I guess we can have a slip up. No more though, bugger the bookies.
There are a few good races this Saturday, sprinkled with a few dart boards. Let’s filter out some winners and get back on track.
To date in 2015 we are +573.25 units in profit PLUS a further 50.90 units profit on our Private Community Facebook Page. That’s over $62,000.00 if you are a $100 punter, or $13,000 for you $25 punters. Not bad at all.
Maximising your Profits
Outside of getting odds early, the best way to maximise your wins is to have online bookies that gives you the best markets. While we use many bookies (and may bring them for best odds), the best of the lot as a single bookie is Bet365.
Get a Bet365 account here and make sure you make the most out of your winners with the following benefits.
– Early fixed odds.
– ‘Best of’ all three TABs for single bets (Win/Place) and Exotics (Trifecta’s/Quaddies)
– ‘Middle tote+’ giving you the best middle tote plus 5%
– ‘Best fluctuation’ markets giving you the best official on-course price
Bet365 also offers the 3 place dividends on early bets when the number of horses is 8 or more. A few weeks ago this was essential, as those who placed the multi close to race time missed out because Shiraz ran 3rd.
Get an account now and start reaping the rewards. You will not regret it >>> Sign up here!
We would recommend three other bookies to help maximise your horse racing profits. They give a great selection of fixed odds and provide some fantastic promotions on select race days. Definitely worth having if you can manage it.
Ladbrokes >>>> SIGN UP HERE IN 2 MINUTES
Crownbet >>>> SIGN UP HERE IN 2 MINUTES
William Hill >>>> SIGN UP HERE IN 2 MINUTES
We recommend placing 1 unit each way on those with suitable place odds ($2.00 or more). Otherwise it is 2 units on the nose or 1 unit for multi’s.
Remember 1 unit = 1% of your bankroll. So for those of you with a $1000 bankroll your unit will be $10
Saturday 5th December 2015
Race 2 – Yarraman Village Plate (1600m)
Analysis: Clearly ready to win now with so many solid runs in some good fields. Gets a nice weight claim here and form at the distance is superb.
Tip: Jacquinot Bay (2 units WIN @ $4.25) >> Bet365
Race 4 – Yarraman Village Plate (1600m)
Analysis: Make no mistake there are a couple of good chances in this race but I am leaning Anaphora. She’s Clean is ready to win but this is a huge weight she has to carry and that may be telling. Northroza won for us last start nicely, but still yet to throw down some confidence. Metaphorical is the my second pick if any after last start and the weight claim. Anaphora has drawn wide but is likely to sit back anyway so this shouldn’t matter and in fact may help with an outside run. Has stormed home the last two and really looks ready for the 1400 m. Add a 3 kg claim to take the weight to 51 kg, and almost 10 kg less than She’s Clean. Worth a shot I think, watch for her storming home.
Tip: Anaphora (1 unit EACH-WAY @ $7.00 and $2.35) >> Ladbrokes
Race 6 – Total Logistic Solutions Handicap (1000m)
Analysis: Got some mail on this horse. She is very quick and does like it fresh. This race isn’t too strong and as long as she slots in from the wide barrier she is a huge chance.
Tip: Heatherly (1 unit EACH-WAY @ $4.40 and $1.83) >> Bet365
Race 7 – City Of Greater Dandenong Stakes (1000m)
Analysis: Has been racing is super fashion lately and drawn perfectly here. Word is he’s flying, so these odds may not last and he has dropped in most other places.
Tip: Reldas (1.5 units EACH-WAY @ $6.00 and $2.25) >> Bet365
Race 1 – Surf Meets Turf Plate (1000m)
Analysis: This may just be a watch and enjoy race. Regimental Force won a trial by 9.5L without moving a muscle. There are some other impressive triallers here but I think he wins on his way to the Magic Millions. Currently $1.75 and could shorten. I will have a go, but this is a first starters 2YO race, so if you’re not sure just sit back and watch. Or chuck him in some multi’s.
Tip: Regimental Force (2 units WIN @ $1.75) >> Bet365
Race 5 – Inglis Classic Sale Night Session (1400m)
Analysis: My top pick is scratched for this, but Eddie wasn’t far behind. I expect his odds to shorten closer to race time. Drawn well, weighted well, should be right in the finish.
Tip: Zin Zan Eddie (1 unit EACH-WAY @ $4.75 and $1.80) >> Bet365
Race 8 – Choose Segenhoe Handicap (1600m)
Analysis: Looks like he has grown an extra leg or two this prep. Getting stronger as the distance rises and he won a similar race easily last start. Drawn perfectly here for a very cosy run and should end over the top of them.
Tip: Cauthen’s Power (2 units WIN @ $3.10) >> William Hill
Race 2 – Volgren Optimus Open Handicap (2220m)
Analysis: The leaders here will no doubt be Perplexity and Hudson County. Be interesting to see how hard they go. I don’t think Perplexity holds them out this time under the 60 kg. Uno Five will sit just off the speed and with bugger all weight charge home like his last two. Any wet weather worries me for him though, so might just have a small go with fine skies predicted. Hudson County is in great form around Sydney and is weighted perfectly here. This is my battle.
Tip: Hudson County (1 unit WIN @ $3.50) >> William Hill
Tip: Uno Five (1 unit WIN @ $5.00) >> Bet365
Race 7 – Bus Supply Partners Handicap (1350m)
Analysis: My pick here is Slots after her recent racing in NSW. Was huge behind a very smart horse last start and will get a cosy run from barrier 3 under a very light weight. Little Brown Horse is an absolute favourite or mine and we failed her last start. Looks like she has returned is super form but does have to carry some extra weight here from the carpark. More of a ‘must back’ for me, so up to you if you follow suit.
Tip: Slots (1 units EACH-WAY @ $5.00 and $2.10) >> Bet365
Race 8 – Qld Bus Industry Council Handicap (1640m)
Analysis: Let’s end the day in Brisbane with a roughy. To be honest these odds are too high. Hopfgarten is the obvious choice, and has been running in the big races down south. He may be too good for these but what toll has the last 2 months taken. Shotover River is drawn well and weighted nicely. First up was huge with no luck on the turn behind the favourite here. He does enjoy Doomben, and should sit just off the speed and will finish strong at crazy odds.
Tip: Shotover River (0.5 unit EACH-WAY @ $11.00 and $3.50) >> William Hill
Race 6 – Haigh Wylie Memorial Handicap (1600m)
Analysis: Been nicely working through the distances and looks ready to peak here 4th up. get’s some weight claim and draws well for his running pattern. I would like to think he is too strong for these.
Tip: Chestnut Charlie (1 units EACH-WAY @ $4.40 and $1.85) >> William Hill
Race 5 – G.A. Towton Cup (2200m)
Analysis: I will give this boy one more chance here. Looked perfectly suited last start and didn’t quite deliver. Same goes here, so let’s write last start off and get some better odds this time.
Tip: Raising Dubai (1 unit EACH-WAY @ $7.00 and $2.10) >> William Hill
Race 6 & 7 – Multi (2 units) >> Bet365
R6 Analysis: No surprises here and there are no reasons to think otherwise. Should be winning this a filling up our wallets a little more.
Tip: Ideal Image
R7 Analysis: A close 4th in the Winterbottom is enough said. Carries no weight at all and drawn ideally. Pike should easily steer him to victory against a few other good horses.
Race 8 Kingston Town Classic (1800m)
Analysis: This is an incredibly hard race to pick, but it is the big one on the day so let’s have a crack. I really like Bart here back in WFA. Was huge in the Railway and draws a gate here. Should sit in the top 6 and providing he gets a split will be super hard to outsprint. I will also stick with Blackwood as a small stakes roughy. He does have heaps of ability and just needs some luck from the barrier to get a nice run. Carries 50 kg so will come home hard at big odds.
Tip: Black Heart Bart (1 unit EACH-WAY @ $10.00 and $3.20) >> William Hill
Tip: Blackwood (0.5 unit EACH-WAY @ $26.00 and $6.00) >> Bet365
Race 9 – Amelia Park Hanicap (1200m)
Analysis: Currently an emergency but is likely to get a run. Drawn the carpark which isd a worry in a big field but just watch his last start and make a case why he won’t win this. Just needs some luck and he is right there.
Tip: Express Dancer (1 unit EACH-WAY @ $3.80 and $1.87) >> William Hill
